What makes Chukum Maya
a truly unique material

A naturally derived finish with properties that set it apart from conventional surfaces. Every application is unique.

Made from components associated with the chukum tree, a species native to the Yucatán Peninsula. Its warm, organic tones come directly from the nature of the material, without artificial pigments.

Its hand-applied craftsmanship ensures that no two surfaces are ever identical. Each project develops its own texture, depth and character. Chukum is never mass-produced.

Hand-applied finish · One of a kind

Unlike tiles or stone, Chukum is applied as a continuous finish with no joints or visual breaks. The result is a seamless surface that brings unity and flow to the space.

Seamless · Visual continuity

It withstands moisture, sun exposure and the passage of time. It can be used across interiors, exteriors, wet areas, bathrooms, pools and façades — one material creating continuity throughout the project.

A carefully selected blend of mineral components provides excellent mechanical and chemical resistance. A material that ages beautifully and gains depth over time.
